A.3. BIOSs, keyboards and video cards

Some BIOSs will not boot if the keyboard is not installed.

Keyboard faulty, press F1

Most BIOSs have settings that will allow them to boot without a keybaord.

Some odd BIOSs will not boot if no video card is installed.
