strlen -- Get string length

Description

int strlen ( string string)

Returns the length of the given string.

Esempio 1. A strlen() example

<?php
$str = 'abcdef';
echo strlen($str); // 6

$str = ' ab cd ';
echo strlen($str); // 7
?>
